SUTTER -- Pat, 78, Skiatook, died Tuesday, November 21, 2006. Infectious laugh, beautiful booming tenor voice, caring spirit, loving father, husband, grandfather, and golfing, tennis, and fishing enthusiast, Pat will be lovingly missed. He was born on January 22, 1928, in Tulsa, OK, to Lionel and Mary Sutter. Pat graduated from the University of Tulsa in 1949, with a degree in Radio Production. He later received a Bachelor of Divinity from Drake University, and served as a Minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for 25 years. Following the ministry, Pat and his family joined All Souls Unitarian Church. He retired from Fourth National Bank, and worked for United Video during retirement years. Pat is survived by: his wife, Jo Ellen Sutter; son, Eric Sutter and his wife, Norma; and grandchildren, Natalya and Karina of Moore, OK; daughter, Patti Sutter and her husband, Jim Houston of Sedro-Wooley, WA; grandson, Danny Purple and wife, Nikki of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Kathy Sutter and partner, Terri Ward of Tulsa; brother, Dick Sutter of Oklahoma City, OK; and many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents and his brother, Bill Sutter. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, November 27, at the Stanleys Funeral Service, 3959 E. 31st St., Tulsa, OK. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to KWGS c/o Public Radio Tulsa. Stanleys, (918) 743-6271.
