Dale Hays Wilmot, 47, of Van Buren died Saturday, February 21, 2004, at a local hospital. He was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church, a graduate of Van Buren High School class of 1974, graduate of Arkansas Tech University in 1979 where he was a student government president, and president of Lambda Chi Alpha social fraternity. He worked 23 years in marketing for ABF and was owner of Wilcox Transmission.
Funeral was held at 10 a.m. at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial in Gracelawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, his mother and two brothers.
