Woman dies after multiple-car interstate wreck
SPRINGDALE — A Siloam Springs woman is dead after a wreck involving multiple cars Thursday night on Interstate 49, just south of the U.S. 412 interchange.
Teresa Daring, 48, was driving north about 10 p.m. in a Chevrolet Malibu when her car sideswiped the trailer of a 1993 Peterbilt truck, causing the truck to swerve across traffic, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
The Malibu was hit from behind while stopped on the inside lane and knocked off the road by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup.
Daring was killed in the accident and another person was injured and taken to Northwest Health-Springdale, according to the report. The name of the injured and the drivers of the Peterbilt and the Silverado weren't identified.
