William Lee Ketchum Sr., 71, of Van Buren died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009, in a local hospital.
He was a retired truck driver for Mount Valley Oil, attended North Park Baptist Church and was a member of the Teamster Union. He was a memorabilia collector and loved camping, fishing, yard work and mowing. He was a great jokester who never met a stranger.
Funeral was at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Ketchum of the home; three daughters, Darlene Craft and husband Earle, and Debra Franklin, all of Van Buren, and Donna Ford and husband David of Wister; two sons, William Lee (Billy) Ketchum and wife Deborah, and Kenneth Ketchum and girlfriend Carri Harrison, all of Van Buren; a brother, Donald Ray Ketchum of Bullhead City, Ariz.; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
