Shirley Joan Jacobs, 74, of Van Buren died Sunday, June 23, 2013, in a local hospital.

She was a cook for both Subiaco Academy and Wayland College in West, Texas. She was a member of the Evangel Temple in Fort Smith.

She was preceded in death by one son, Lloyd Coker, Jr.; her parents, William & Margaret (Dickerson) Jacobs; three sister and two brothers.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Tonya Johnson of Van Buren and Terri Ash of Fort Smith; two brothers, Bruce Jacobs of Van Buren and Jimmy Jacobs of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Tristen, Joshua and Michael Priest, Steve Carlile, Darryl Ortega and Cody Harris.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry McCoy, Vincent Overby, Skipper Jacobs, Paul Jacobs, Jr.
