Wayn Ledbetter, 48, died in Hot Springs, AR on August 28, 2017.
He was born on August 20, 1969 in Dunoon, Scotland and grew up in Hot Springs. He was a graduate of Fountain Lake High School. He served in the United States Air Force and was a graduate of the Emergency Medical Science program at UAMS.
Wayn was a first responder who worked as a paramedic for over 20 years in Texas, Georgia, Colorado, and Arkansas. He touched the hearts of many and saved numerous lives doing the work he loved. He was a gifted vocalist and drummer with a great love for music. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, co-worker, and friend who will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his father and mother, Clifford and Margaret Ledbetter; his brother, Garry Ledbetter, his sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Aaron Boyette; his nephew, Zeke Ledbetter; his nieces Riley and Linsey Ledbetter and Eden and Daphne Boyette; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held in his honor on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home in Hot Springs. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.
