FAYETTEVILLE — Lee Allen Weldon, 74, of Fayetteville, died Jan. 3, 2012, in Fayetteville. He was born March 13, 1937, in Okema, Okla., to Joseph and Ada Axtel Weldon. He was a long-haul truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of the home; son, Michael Weldon of Johnson; two daughters, Karen Golden and husband, Lyndall, of Fayetteville, and LeeAnn Ryan and husband, Mike, of Lincoln; two brothers, Charles Weldon of Lowell and Lars Weldon of Colcord, Okla.; three sisters, Jenny Cunningham of Chouteau, Okla., Mary Howarth of Springdale and June Ann Whinnery of Lowell; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
