January 8, 1888 - May 16, 1977
Junious Hempstead, 89, of 621 Jasper St., Camden, died Monday in a local hospital. The funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Masedonia Baptist Church with Rev. L. O. Fort officiating. Burial will be in Chidester with the Williams Funeral Service in charge. Hempstead is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lilly Hempstead; four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Williams of Little Rock, Mrs. Bessie Youngblood of Dallas, Tex., Mrs.Eulna Carter of Pamona, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Davis of Berkley, Calif.; 31 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
