September 13, 1889 - December 31, 1908
Walter Lincoln Turman died December 21, 1908 at the home of his mother, Lydia E. Turman, at the age of 19 years. He was the son of Nimrod Turman, a former mayor of Van Buren.
Walter was a court stenographer for this judical district.
He was a member of Woodmen of the World lodge and Pretorian Lodges of Van Buren.
Funeral service was held at the Turman home with Rev. F.M. Tolleson of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
