Earl L. Tinney, 69, of Kibler passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2004, in a local hospital. In 1935 he was born in Bond Special, where he grew up. Earl served 13 years in the Air National Guard and was a retired self-employed mechanic and a volunteer firefighter. He was such a kind man with a compassionate heart who genuinely cared about people of all walks of life. If he was needed, he was there for you. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Earl fought a long, hard battle against Alzheimer's disease. He was one who never said. "Bye". He always said, "See ya Later."

He is survived by his wife, one son and daughter-in-law, two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Tinney.

Funeral was held at 10 a.m. at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Newberry Cemetery in Alma, Arkansas.
