February 26, 1881 - July 29, 1967
Wife of Newton Orvel Pollock
Mrs. Nettie Pollock, 86 years old. of Route 1, Alma, Arkansas died Saturday afternoon, July 29, 1967 in a local hospital. Born February 26, 1881 at Rudy, Arkansas, Mrs. Pollock was the daughter of Thomas and Margaret (Brimm) Porter and the wife of N. O. Pollock who died January, 1957. She had lived in Alma for 40 years and was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors are two sons; a daughter, Faye; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Newberry Chapel with Rupert Pixley officiating, assisted by George Kleeb, pastor of City Heights Methodist church. Burial in Newberry cemetery was under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home.
