Leslie R. Artripe, 73, of Fayetteville died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born April 28, 1934, in Ingleside, Texas, to George and Lillian Ives Artripe.
Leslie worked for Heekin Canning Co. for 35 years. He was preceded in death by Fern Artripe, Arnold Artripe, George Artripe Jr., Lawrence Artripe and Richard Artripe.
Survivors include three sons, L. Wayne Artripe, Jeffrey A. Artripe and Ricky Franklin Artripe, all of Springdale; two daughters, Martha Ann Artripe and Heather Nicole Artripe, both of Springdale; one brother, Harry Artripe of Springdale; three grandchildren, Tara Elizabeth Krile, Karye Kristine Birdsong and Aaron Wayne Artripe.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today, Sept. 18, at Bluff Cemetery in Springdale.
