John Harvey Brummett, 83, of Alma, Arkansas, entered into rest on Friday, November 13, 2015 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He was born January 11, 1932 in Greenbrier, Arkansas the son of the late William and Zula Brummett.
John was a former car salesman and a member of Hwy 71 Freewill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Judy Parton.
Survivors include three daughters, Jonna Newton of Alma, Arkansas, Tina Mann of Kibler, Arkansas and Lisa Nelson of Rudy, Arkansas, three sons, Tony Brummett of Alma, Arkansas, James Brummett of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Bobby White of Mena, Arkansas, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Lewis-Roberts Funeral Chapel, 4817 Kelley Hwy Fort Smith with interment at Newberry Cemetery, Alma, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Walker, Steve Walker, Terry Walker, Cody White, Tim Nelson and Jerry Mann.
