David Odean "Cotton" Provence, 53, of Mountainburg died Sunday, Oct.19,2008 in Ozark AR. He attended Chester First Freewill Baptist Church, was a Mountainburg High School graduate and a self-employed truck driver.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chester Freewill Baptist Church with burial at Bidville cemetery near Mountainburg under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
He is survived by a daughter, Megan Provence-Perry of Fayetteville; a son, Mitchell Provence of Mountainburg; his parents, Mary and Ora Provence of Bidville; two sisters, Zelda Drummond of Ozark and Fern Porter of Rogers; and a brother Eugene Provence of Winslow.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne and Shane Provence, David Bradley, Roger Drummond, Wayne and Dale Darling.
