Mr. James "Junior" Releford Jr., 73, departed this life Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, in his home to start a new life in Heaven with God.
He was born July 13, 1939, in Dripping Springs to the late James Releford Sr. and Geneva Steward Releford.
He was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Fort Smith and a retired truck driver.
Homegoing service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Ninth Street Church of Christ with burial at Beal Cemetery in Newton under the direction of Rowell-Parish Mortuary.
He left to cherish his memory his children, Jacqueline Releford Davis and husband Joseph of Pflugerville, Texas, Johnny, Connie, Ronnie, Lonnie, Alonzo, Stephanie and James Releford III and Donna Releford Johnson and husband Rodney and Paula Releford-McGill and husband Rashad, all of Fort Smith, and Jason and Jamey Releford of Alma. He also leaves two sisters, Carolyn and Shirley Releford of Broken Arrow, Okla., and a brother, Arthur Releford of Van Buren; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; an aunt, Mrs. Marie Stewart; and many nieces and nephews.
