Allen Bradford Cooper, 83, of Searcy, passed away June 12, 2020. He was born June 8, 1937 to the late Eugene Bradford and Elmira Hobbs Cooper at El Paso, Arkansas.
Allen served in the United States Air Force as an airplane mechanic and served overseas on several missions. He took great pride in his service. After his honorable discharge, Allen drove a truck for Cal-Main. He enjoyed sharing stories of his trucking days. Allen spent his free time fishing, working in the yard, and watching NASCAR. His favorite driver was the Arkansas native Mark Martin. He also enjoyed working his flea market booth and finding deals at yard sales.
Along with his parents Allen is preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Nichols. She passed on her 70th birthday.
Left to remember his humor is his beloved wife, Wanda Beals Cooper; his daughter Sharron Rose Loddeke (Brad) of Breese, IL; his three brothers, George Wesley Cooper of Judsonia, Howard Wilton Cooper (Joyce) of Conroe, TX, and Clarence Edward Cooper (Elizabeth) of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren, other family and friends.
Visitation will be 12:00 Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Sullivan Memorial Chapel with funeral services following at 1:00 p.m. Internment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery at Rosebud.
