**Obituary
Barbara Ann Burr, 78, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 in Star City. She was born April 27, 1942 in Star City, the daughter of the late Joe Burr and Ruby Ratterree Burr.

Barbara was a member of Star City First Methodist Church and a long-time member of the Mountain Home Methodist Church. Barbara worked for Harry Shannon Chevrolet and later retired from Arkansas Department of Human Services.

Barbara was a gifted artist and enjoyed painting a variety of items, including Christmas Tree Ornaments. She had a passion for genealogy and spent many hours compiling a history of her Ratterree relatives. Another love was her compassion and care for many cats and dogs throughout her life.

Barbara is survived by her sister, Betty Joe Burr of Star City; her “God Son” Chris (Rebecca) McGee; his two sons, John T. and Zachary B. McGee; along with numerous cousins, special friends; and loving caregivers, Greg (Becky) Morgan and William (Theresa) Sanders.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM at Mountain Home Cemetery, Thursday, January 14, 2021 with Bro Russell Hull officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Memorials may be made to the Mountain Home Cemetery, Attn: Vedia Chambliss, 313 Kepler Rd., Star City, AR 71667.
