BELLA VISTA — Max Vernon McCoy Jr., 56, of Bella Vista, Ark., died, Aug. 10, 2016. He was born March 15, 1960, in Torrington, Wyo.
Max raised Coon Dogs as a teenager. He loved the outdoors — fishing, hunting, gardening, landscaping, four-wheeling and spending time with family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sonja McCoy; his mother, Alice Brown, Bella Vista, Ark., his father, Max V. McCoy, Sr., Bentonville, Ark.; two sisters, Brenda Jo McCoy, Bella Vista and Lena Kay McCoy, Bentonville, Ark.; aunts and uncles, John and Sharon Rise, Plano, Texas, Larry Brown and David Brown, Torrington, Wyo., Dorothy Esenach, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Isabell Hill, Lingle, Wyo.
Visitation will be held 3-5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, and a Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. Burial will be at the Bella Vista Memorial Garden Cemetery. On-line condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
