*Obituary
Miner Dwayne Lester, 72, of Quitman, AR. died yesterday. He was a son of William Miner Lester and Ida (Owen) Lester. He served in the Korean war and was a member of Palestine Baptist Church in Quitman. He is survived by his widow, Emma Lois (Hill) Lester, of 48 years; son Tim Lester of Mabelvale, daughter Diane Lester Atkins and husband Dan of Conway; two grandchildren, Jeremy & Sarah Atkins; three sisters, Leone Jobe and Vergie Peters of Rose Bud and Maxine Strain of Quitman. He was preceded in death by two brothers Amos Lester and E. L. Lester, both of Rose Bud; and two sisters, Eva Baldridge and Cleo Allen of Quitman.
