October 20, 1887 - October 5, 1969
Ollie Jones, 81, of 1606 N. Roselawn (rear) died Sunday in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in El Dorado Oct. 20, 1887, he was the son of George and Lizzie Snowden Jones. He was a member of St. Marks Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons, Harry W. Jones and Othellous Jones, both of St. Louis, Mo., and Willie C. Jones, Muskegon, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Lillie Grimmett, Muskegon and Mrs. Louise Cooper, Magnolia; three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Page, Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Maggie Young and Mrs. Jodie Baker, both of Magnolia; one brother, George Jones, El Dorado; Seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will follow in Lott Burgy Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary. (October 10, 1969)
