BELLA VISTA — Joseph LaBriente, 66, of Bella Vista, died March 23, 2003, at his home. He was born Jan. 14, 1937, in Akron, Ohio, to Dominic and Angelina Liguori LaBriente. He worked for Baudin Sausage Co. as a salesman and received numerous awards during his career.
He moved to Bella Vista three years ago from Lafayette, La. He was a Catholic. His hobbies included bowling, fishing and woodworking.
Survivors included his wife of 42 years, Barbara Dee LaBriente of Bella Vista; four sons, Bill Lewis and wife Trish of Fontana, Calif., J. Lewis and wife Debbie of Springdale, Tony Lewis and wife Pam of Springdale, and Mike Lewis and wife Laura of Mena; three daughters, Annie Moring and husband Bob of Rogers, Janet Turner and husband Tim of Nashville, Tenn., Bobbi Copeland and husband Doug of Rogers; one brother, John Palilto of Akron; two sisters, Dora Ruggerio of Downey, Calif., and Josephine Dillon of Sun City, Calif.; 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice, 1001 W. Walnut St., Suite 3, Rogers, 72756.
