Levi Billy "L.B." Smith, 75, of Fort Smith, AR. entered into rest on Sunday, September 18, 2011 in Fort Smith, AR.
He was born May 10, 1936 in Abbott, AR. To the son of the late William and Flora Smith.

He was a member, a deacon and a musician at Family Lighthouse Worship Center and a retired truck driver with American Freightways.

He is survived by his wife Mary of 40 years, two sons Rick Lowery and wife Linda of Alma, AR. and Bill Jr. Pamplin and wife Sherry of Neosha, MS., four daughters Glinda Strickler and husband Buddy of Lavaca, AR., Zona McGee and husband Billy of Fort Smith, AR., Belinda Hutchenson and husband Steve of Glendale, AR. and Adria and Chaz of Arizona, one brother Jerry Smith and wife Janet of North Carolina, three sisters Frankie Dorsey of Fort Smith, AR., Carolyn Richardson and husband Gene of Wichita, Kansas and Wanda Shackleford of Wichita, Kansas, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. with interment at McVay Cemetery in Carbon City.

Pallbearers will be Michael Bray, Alvin Smith, Martin Wasson, James Johnson, Steve Parker and Mike Davis.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR.
