*When Minnie Lee Deaton was born in June 1869 in Alabama, his father, William, was 67 and his mother, Patsey, was 51. He married Louisa Jane Walls Smith Sharp and they had three children together. He also had one son and one daughter from another relationship. He died on March 5, 1935, in Piney, Arkansas, at the age of 65, and was buried in Searcy, Arkansas.
