Raymond "Dale" Wallace, 74 of Grady, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born June 23, 1939 in Danville to the late Harley W. and Viola V. Southerland Wallace. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Grady, was an avid fisherman and loved growing flowers and gardening. Also preceding him in death were 2 brothers, Felix Wallace and Benjamin Wallace. Survivors include his wife, Syble Stephenson Wallace of Grady; 1 son, Harley Raymond Wallace of Warren; 1 daughter, Viola Wallace of Grady; 5 sisters, Minnie Sue (Bill) Wooley of Star City, Emma Faye (Tom) Clingan of Grady, Maggie Lou Wallace of Pine Bluff, Georgia Ann Taylor of Booneville and Frankie May Jasso of Berryville. Funeral Services are 11:00AM Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Raymond Reed officiating. Visitation is 9:00AM until funeral time Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Online guestbook at www.griffinfuneralservice.net.
