**Obituary
Pine Bluff Commercial, July 22, 2000 Billy G. McCool, 70, of Star City, died July 19, 2000, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center at Pine Bluff. He was born on April 16, 1930, in Lincoln County, a son of the late Marshall McCool and Jewel Pearl Jackson McCool. He was a retired brick mason and a member of the Assembly of God at Star City. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was also a member and past commander of American Legion Roy Jason Fish Post 37. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Sherrill of Harrison and Marsha McMahan of Grenada, Mississippi; four sisters, Freddie Blasengame, Christine McCall and Mavis Weast, all from Star City, and Frankie Bland of Pine Bluff; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today at Griffin Funeral Chapel at Star City with the Rev Kevin Wisecarver officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Yorktown
