Lewis E. Stacy, age 64 of Searcy, died Monday, July 30, 2007 in Searcy.
He was born Sunday, November 8, 1942 at Marks, Mississippi to Curtis William Stacy and Terry Mae (Moon) Stacy. He was a member of Valley Baptist Church, an avid hunter and fisherman, member of the Sheriff's Association and was formerly the Director of Security and Safety at Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Glenda Stacy of Searcy; two daughters, Melinda Flowers and husband Johnny of Searcy, Linda Baker and husband Stan of Tupelo, Mississippi; one son, Billy Stacy and wife Cindy of Beebe; two adopted grandsons, Billy Stacy, Jr. of Searcy, Charles Edward Stacy of Searcy; four grandchildren, Jonathan Flowers of Fort Smith, Morgan Roberts of Fort Smith, Jessica Bailey of Tupelo, Mississippi, Kristen Bailey of Tupelo, Mississippi; one brother, Darrel Stacy and wife Julie of Southaven, Mississippi; and two sisters, Marie Jenkins of Kosciusko, Mississippi and Geraldine Farrell of New Bern, North Carolina. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Helen Lorene Griffin.
