Danny Holloway, 76, of Georgetown, passed away August 9, 2016 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born February 10, 1940 at Black Oak, Arkansas to the late Samuel and Cellie Lou Milligan Holloway.
He served in the US Army from 1959-1961 and was a longtime councilman for Georgetown. His favorite hobbies included fishing, camping, boating, and reading western books, as well as quilting with his late wife.
He married Dolly Ditto Holloway March 23, 1983 at Thayer, Missouri, she preceded him in death December 16, 2015.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ina Othel Kinsella and Olean Carroll; and great grandson, Greyson Dean Morris.
He is survived by son, Larry Don Holloway (Nancy) of Tuckerman; daughters, Karen Henderson and Sharon Huey (Larry) both of McCrory; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Following Mr. Holloway’s wishes, he will be cremated with no public services and private burial of ashes next to his late wife at Georgetown Cemetery.
