James Henry Copsy, 68, of Paris passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, in Fort Smith. He was born May 13, 1944, in San Fernando, Calif., to his parents, Harry and Hazel Cardin Copsy.
He was a retired respiratory therapist for Sparks Medical Center and a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Copsy.
He is survived by his mother, Hazel Copsy of Paris; a daughter, Christine Copsy of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a brother, Troy Copsy and wife Ferdos of Paris; nephews, Troy Ray Copsy and wife Marie of Castro Valley, Calif., and Chad Copsy and wife Debbi of Paris; great-nephews, Brandon Copsy of Sacramento, Calif., Taylor Copsy of Paris and Brent Liebe of Castro Valley; a great-great-nephew, Cooper Sewell Copsy; and numerous family and friends.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Chad Copsy, Troy Ray Copsy, Taylor Copsy and Randy Rumsey.
