I visited the gravesite on July 13, 2000. This cemetery is located at the top of the hill between Clay and Dewey. Going from Clay it
is located on the right side of the road at the top of the hill. It has a homemade metal marker with the name Anthony Smith – 1856 – Sept. 7, 1931. It also has a rock ring around it. It is hard to believe it would be possible to dig a grave at this spot as the
rocks are barely under the top of the ground. It is the only grave there. I returned to the site on December 28, 2004, for a second
survey and found no new information to report. I visited the site again July 4, 2018. I did not see any changes. Prepared Leroy
