Melva Dean Padgett, age 70, of Jacksonville passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014. She was born July 18, 1943 in Jacksonville, Arkansas to the late Marvin and Clydeen Padgett. She was a retired banker for One Banc and Trust. She is survived by her daughter Leslee (Todd) Ingram of Jacksonville, one brother Jim (Geraldine) Padgett of Havre De Grace, Maryland, grandchildren; Tim Padgett of Jonesboro, Trent Ingram of Jacksonville, Adam Ingram of Ward. A memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 31, 2014 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral with a reception following the service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
