Terrence (Terry) Tise, 66, of Dover, Arkansas passed away on March 19, 2015 at the Veterans Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas surrounded by his immediate and extended family members.

Terry was born in Washington, D.C. on March 07, 1949. He attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a Vietnam combat veteran and a sergeant in the US Army. Later, he worked as an engineer for Bechtel. Terry loved gunsmithing, motorcycles, hunting, fishing and reading.

Terry is survived by Elaine Tise; and his sons, Shane and Wyatt Tise; his four grandchildren, Kyle, Conner, Chris and Loretta. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Charlene and Gerald Tise; and daughter, Rachael Tise-Cates of St. Louis, Missouri.

The funeral service will be held at Beard’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas on March 24, 2015. Chapel service will be held at 1:00 PM followed by the burial at the Fayetteville National Cemetery at 2:00 PM. John Sweigart of Russellville, Arkansas will be officiating.

Memorial donations may be given to the Arkansas Veterans Home, 1179 N. College Avenue, Fayetteville, AR. 72702, Attn: Kriss Schaffer, R.N., Administer for the Music and Memory Program. The Tise Family wishes to thank the Fayetteville Veterans Home and Hospice Care for their help and support.
