John V. Clinebell, age 85, of Russellville, died Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was born February 5, 1934, in Portsmouth, Ohio to Otha C. and Muriel Clinebell.

He was a manager at Con Agra for 14 years, was a volunteer with his wife in National Park Campgrounds and was an avid golfer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Molly Beal; five brothers, Cleo, Junior, Charles, Floyd and Ralph; three sisters, Edna, Louise and Bette.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Barbara Clinebell; two sons and daughters-in-laws, John Michael and Sharon Clinebell of Greeley, Colorado and Greg and Terri Clinebell of Clarksville; three grandchildren, Matthew (Sarah) Beal of Sachse, Texas, Meagan (Adam) Hansen of Siloam Springs and Amanda Clinebell of Clarksville; and three great-grandchildren Asa Beal and Molly and Noah Hansen.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 12, 2019, at the Shinn Chapel with Brother Jeff Mize officiating. Burial will be in Reid Cemetery near Cleveland under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.

Active pallbearers are James and Matthew Beal, Adam Hansen, Greg Clinebell, Thomas Pennington and Marty Perry. Honorary pallbearers are Curtis Sawyer and John Michael Clinebell.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., on Thursday at the funeral home.
