Hailey Jayde Carney, 16 years old, was born January 13, 2004 in Rogers, AR to Tara Padgett Thomas and Jamie Carney. Hailey was a sophomore at Mayflower High School. She previously attended Hermitage Public Schools. Hailey was an all-around athlete; however, basketball was her passion. Hailey was a member of the First Baptist Church Mayflower. She was a strong Christian and her faith shined through her smile. She had an infectious smile and loved to laugh and joke with friends and family.

Hailey was preceded in death by her brother, Clayton Carney; great grandparents Vernon and Alpha Stone, Fern Carney, Troy Weatherly and Carthel Healy; and great uncle Linn Healy.

She is survived by her parents Tara Thomas (Charles) of Beebe and Jamie Carney (Kim) of Russellville; siblings Tyler Day, Kayla Rowell (Paul), Bradly Day, Kylen Carney (Kimberelee), Megan Carney, Cody Elmore, Kane Elmore, Amanda Allen (Odis), and Courtney Temple; maternal grandparents, Mark and Karen Padgett; paternal grandparents, James Carney and Beverly Cornwell (Wayne); great grandparents Billie Healy, Hazel Weatherly, and Doyle Carney (Laura); as well as many other family and friends.

Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Friday at First Baptist Church of Beebe (DUE TO POWER OUTAGE, VISITATION HAS BEEN MOVED TO FBC OF BEEBE)

Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Mayflower First Baptist Church, with burial in Antioch Cemetery, Beebe. Donations can be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital Oncology Unit in Hailey’s name.
