Mrs. Shmooni L. Gawrieh, age 77, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Thursday, February 14, 2013, at her son's residence.
Mrs. Gawrieh was born January 3, 1936, in Iraq and had lived in Arkansas for the past thirty-six years. She was a member of the All Saints of America Orthodox Christian Church in De Queen, Arkansas, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Elias Gawrieh of Texarkana, Arkansas, three sons and daughters-in-law, Sami and Deborah Gawrieh of Hallsville, Texas, George and Janet Gawrieh of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Jack and Deborah Gawrieh of White Oak, Texas, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P. M. Saturday at the All Saints of America Orthodox Christian Church, 193 Brooks Road, De Queen, Arkansas with Rev. George Brooks officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
The family will receive friends at their residence after 6 PM Saturday.
