When Ada Gertrude "Atrude" Kirk was born on April 6, 1919, her father, Earl, was 27, and her mother, Mona, was 26. She had five brothers and four sisters. She died on September 18, 2002, at the age of 83, and was buried in Beebe, Arkansas.
