When Leo Lincoln Cox was born on June 20, 1925, in Faulkner, Arkansas, his father, Edward, was 61 and his mother, Cynthia, was 36. He had four brothers and three sisters. He died on December 2, 1996, in Mount Vernon, Arkansas, at the age of 71.
