William Jeffrey Newton, 44, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away at his home Saturday, October 4, 2014. Jeff was raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and enjoyed a vast array of sports and spending time with family and friends. He was active in the Army National Guard and served in Bosnia.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Carroll Newton and a sister, Terri Linette Newton. He is survived by his mother, Joann Newton, his wife Phyllis Ward Newton, three children; Daniel Jonathan Newton, Victoria Elizabeth Newton, William Paxton Newton, five sisters, two brothers, one grandson, Conner James Newton; several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Gross Funeral Home in Hot Springs with Pastor David Holcomb of Friendship Baptist Church Clinton, AR officiating. Burial with military honors will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to Gross Funeral Home.
