Prairie Grove — Billy Joe Head, 27, of Prairie Grove died at a Fayetteville hospital Thursday. Born May 4, 1954 at Fayetteville he was the son of Leroy and Pearl Ruth King Head.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Pearl Burk, a brother, James, two half-brothers, Jimmy McGuire and Jerry Dale Burk, and a sister, Mrs. Louise Wade, all of Springdale, a half-sister, Mrs. Carol Majors of Texas and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Martha Lizzie King of Prairie Grove.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Prairie Grove with burial in Thorpe Cemetery.
