Michael B. "Mike" Neely age 65 of El Dorado passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. Mike was born on July 2, 1954 in El Dorado to Janette McKnight Neely and the late Jimmy Bart Neely. He was a retired master electrician, having worked for many companies during his career. He was a member of One Community Church of El Dorado and was a member of IBEW, local electrician's union, for many years. Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially deer and turkey hunting, and was an avid Razorback Fan. He loved all of his family dearly, but was especially fond of his three grandchildren.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents and by his father, Jimmie B. Neely.
Survivors include; his wife of almost 35 years, Norma Neely of El Dorado; two daughters, Cara Leigh Neely of Georgia, and Vanessa Love and husband Corey of El Dorado; one son, Joseph Neely and wife Cierra of El Dorado; his mother, Janette Neely of El Dorado; one sister, Teresa Neely of Hot Springs Village; two brothers, Larry Neely and wife Lori of El Dorado, and Richard Neely and wife Angela of El Dorado; three grandchildren, Aubrynn Killingsworth, Harper Love and Jaycee Neely.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm followed by funeral services at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jason Yarbrough officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery near Smackover under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado.
Pallbearers will be; Larry Neely, Richard Neely, Rodney Neely, Clint Neely, Josh Neely and Rand Sinclair. Honorary Pallbearers will be; David Neely and Randy Neely.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to One Community Church, 701 South West Ave, El Dorado, AR 71730
