William Alvin McIntire, 72 of Bono died May 20, 2021 at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro.
Born October 11, 1948 in Walnut Ridge, to the late Jessie and Ruth Crittenden McIntire.

He was united in marriage to Ruby Thomas on June 24, 1967.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, gardening, collecting guns and knives. He was a factory worker for most of his life and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one son, Samuel Alvin McIntire; two stepmothers, Evelyn Cummings, and Marilyn McIntire; and one brother, James Howard McIntire.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby of the home; one daughter, Lavinda (Thomas) Bush of Yellville; one son, Michael (Miranda) McIntire of Jonesboro; numerous grandchildren; one great grandchild; five brothers, Charles (Brenda) McIntire of Wittcliff, OH, Junior (Kim) McIntire of Imboden, Virgil (Pam) McIntire of Imboden, Mark McIntire of West Plains, MO, and Jason McIntire of Imboden; three sisters, Katye (Leonard) Morphitt of Americas, KS, Lynn (Vern) Horn of Kincaide, KS, and Laurie Horn of Emporia, KS; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Bryan Chapel with Bro. Ulysses Vandermolen officiating.

Pallbearers will be Elijah Thomas, Junior, Mark, Jason, Virgil, Jimmy, and Charles “Moon” McIntire.

Interment will follow in the Clark Cemetery in Alicia.

Visitation will be from 12:30 PM until the time of service.
