Mr. Jacky Raymond Hamby, 71, of Bradford passed from this life to the next on October 28,2020 at his home. He was born December 13, 1948 in Newport to the late Happy Jack and Ethel Mae Reagan Hamby.
Jacky always worked hard while he was able. He loved horses and sitting by his wood stove while watching the wildlife through the back window of his home. In earlier years, he enjoyed fox hunting and running fox hounds. He was an avid deer hunter and loved to run deer dogs as well. Jacky enjoyed a good western and was a big fan of John Wayne. He loved and cared for his family and they were constantly on his mind. He was a member of Crossroads Church of Christ.
He is survived by his children, Catherine Malnar, Joanna Tims (Johnny), and Jesse Hamby (Christy); nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Wanda Thompson (Don) and Carol Runyan; and several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Connie Sue Mason Hamby; parents, Happy Jack and Ethel Mae Reagan Hamby; and a sister, Shirley VanWinkle.
Visitation is 2pm Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the Crossroads Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 3pm. Interment is in Smith Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Bradford Memorial Funeral Home of Bradford, Arkansas.
