Services for Roy Lee Vanscoder of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be private.
Roy passed away November 25, 2012, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 77. He was born September 5, 1935, in Idabel, Oklahoma, the son of Cecil and Julie Prater Vanscoder. He married Margaret Vanscoder September 5, 1965, at Casa Grande, Arizona and worked as a mechanic. Roy was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Roy lived in Mountain Home, since 1998, moving from Idabel, Oklahoma.
Roy is survived by his son, David Vanscoder of Flippin, AR, daughter, Deana (Boyd) Rhodes of Idabel, OK, sister, Mary Wilson of Redland, OK, brother, Sherman "Red" Vanscoder of Colorado and two grandchildren, Amanda and Brandon Rhodes of Idabel, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
