Kerry Matthew Callahan, 44 of Walnut Ridge, died on March 4, 2021 in the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born August 5, 1976 in Jonesboro; son of Kerry and Mary Jane Sturch Callahan. Matt was a graduate of the Walnut Ridge High School in 1995. He was a farmer and attended the Methodist Church in Walnut Ridge. Matt was a free spirit and loved to have a good time, his passion was being outdoors, hunting and fishing, but most of all it was his two children.

Survivors include his parents, Kerry and Mary Jane Callahan of Walnut Ridge; a son, Peyton Callahan of Walnut Ridge; a daughter, Grace Callahan of Walnut Ridge; a brother, Ty (Kenna) Callahan of Walnut Ridge; four nephews, Davis, Emerson, Jasper and Conner; his best friend and companion of eleven years, his dog, Daisy; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. in the Bryan Chapel. Private family burial will be held at a later date in the Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge.
