August 31, 1944 - August 2, 2016
Jimmy Edward Ryan, 71, went to be with the Lord August 2, 2016. He was born August 31, 1944 in Bearden, AR to Joseph and Hazel Pate Ryan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Norman Ryan, Jr. and a sister, Dixie Louise Doherty.
Mr. Ryan is survived by his wife, Velinda Ryan of Camden, AR; three sons, Jimmy Ryan (Melody) of EL Dorado, AR, Jeffrey Edward Ryan of Bearden, AR and Jason Mark Ryan of Camden, AR; a granddaughter, Jaci Ryan of Camden, AR; three grandsons, Hayden Ryan of Camden, AR, Mark Ryan of Bearden, AR and Carson Ryan of Bearden, AR; two brothers, Gene Ryan (Linda) of Camden, AR and Steve Ryan of Camden, AR; and four sisters, Doris Ezell of Baytown, TX, Joanie Harcrow (James) of Locust Bayou, AR, Martha Phillips (Marvin) of Camden, AR and Sara Brown (Richard) of Camden, AR.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday. Services will be 2:00 Friday at Victory Church followed by interment at Moss Hill Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Joe DeLuca and the staff of Ouachita County Medical Center Hospice.
