Jody Allen Westbrook, 32, of Spring Valley died Friday, April 29, 2005. He was born Oct. 10, 1972, in Fayetteville to Rudy Allen and Loretta Gayle Taylor Westbrook. He was a lifetime area resident, and loved to hunt and fish. He was a plumber and co-owner of P.P. Plumbing in Eureka Springs.

Survivors include two sons, Austin and Dustin Westbrook of Springdale; his parents, Rudy and Loretta Gayle Westbrook of Spring Valley; two brothers, Billy Joe Westbrook and Tim Westbrook, both of Spring Valley; former spouse, Michelle Westbrook of Springdale; former in-laws, Larry and Bobbie Bolinger of Tontitown; two half sisters, Tammy Robinson of Cassville, Mo., Kim Lebeau of Gentry; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2005. at Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. Euel Bilderback and Angela Riggins officiating.

Bearers will be Chris Bilderback, Gene Bolinger, Denny O'Neill, Jackie Taylor, Steven Taylor and Ronnie Walker.

One Vehicle Car Crash Kills One

FAYETTEVILLE ā€” A Northwest Arkansas man died early Friday after losing control of his vehicle in Madison County.

Jody Allen Westbrook, 31, of rural Washington County, was northbound on Arkansas 12 east of the Clifty community when he lost control of a 2000 Chevrolet, crossed the road and hit a tree, according to an Arkansas State Police report.

Westbrook's vehicle caught fire after the accident, according to the report.

No other vehicles were involved, and no one else was hurt, according to the report.

Rain was falling and the road was wet at the time of the accident, according the report.

The accident was the 22nd fatality worked this year by state police Troop Lā€ž which covers Benton, Washington and Madison counties, as well as part of Carroll County.

Statewide, troopers have worked 189 fatal car accidents this year, according the state police Web site.
