Charlie Floyd House, age 89, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at North Arkansas Regional Hospital in Harrison, Arkansas. He was born in Marshall, Arkansas on December 10, 1923 to Clem House and Ora (Beavers) House.

Charlie Floyd was a member of the Red Oak Freewill Baptist Church where he served as a church deacon and was a Sunday school teacher for over 53 years. He loved going to church, his cows and his Blue Heeler dog. Charlie Floyd was retired from the Marshall School system after 36 years of service as a bus driver and maintenance worker.

His parents; one grandson, David House; and one sister, Myrtle Coulson, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving wife of 69 years, Elmo House of the home; one son, Charles House and wife Nancy of Harrison; one daughter, Carolyn Davis and husband Harvey of Marshall; four grandchildren, Tammye Quick, Jessica Wright, Christy Preis and Harvie Leigh Beaver; nine great grandchildren; and one sister, Madge Treat.

Services for Charlie Floyd will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Alan Yarbrough officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Tim Beaver, Kelvin Preis, Zachary Beaver, Kris Quick, Alex Wright, Carson Wright, Jacob Beaver and Hunter Preis.

Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Red Oak Freewill Baptist Church.
