Mr. Alfred Hensley Reynolds, of Hickory Ridge, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in Jonesboro. He was born October 15, 1943 in Hickory Ridge, the son of Willie Columbus and Mattie Mae (Tarwater) Reynolds. He married Miss Phyliss Adams on March 27, 1964, and they enjoyed nearly fifty-one years together.
Mr. Reynolds was a farmer, and enjoyed deer hunting, riding 4-wheelers, camping, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William Reynolds; and two sisters, Helen Reynolds and Stella Reynolds.
Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife, Phyliss Adams Reynolds of the home; one son, Devon Alfred Reynolds of McCrory; two daughters, Lisa Ryna Dix of McCrory and Leslie Roschele Mullins of Weiner; one brother, Thomas Reynolds of Beedeville; two sisters, Lorene Vance of Wynne and Arvilla Garrett of Ft. Smith; four grandchildren, Timmy Reynolds, Justin Dix, Braden Reynolds, and Cynthia Sterling; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit at the funeral home, Sunday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Monday at Jackson’s Newport Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Eightmile Cemetery.
