When Albert Gould Dodd was born on July 20, 1898, in Knox City, Missouri, his father, Albert, was 59 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 31. He married Olga Hedwig Reinsch on August 31, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois. They had one child during their marriage. He died on March 7, 1981, in Harvey, Illinois, at the age of 82, and was buried in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
