A Funeral Service for John M. Kostrzak of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at the Assembly of God Church, Horseshoe Bend, with Brother Shepard and Pastor Berlen Walker officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, at the church.

John passed away September 6, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82. He was born April 8, 1931, in Manawa, Wisconsin, the son of Louis and Polly Clapps Kostrzak. He married Nancy Lundt on September 8, 1962, at Manawa, Wisconsin and worked as a Millwright for Hotz Manufacturing. John was a U.S. veteran of the Korean War. John lived in Horseshoe Bend since 2004, moving from Wisconsin. He was a member of the American Legion, Ham Radio Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

John is survived by his wife, Nancy Kostrzak of Horseshoe Bend, AR; daughter, Rebecca (Gus) May of Shawano, WI and brother, Russell Kostrzak of Tigerton, WI.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ralph Kostrzak.

Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, AR. Military Honors will be provided by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral Home.
