WOOLWINE, E.A. - E.A. Woolwine, retired farmer and well known resident of Benton county for the past twenty-five years, died at the home of his son, D.P. Woolwine, east of Centerton, Wednesday, Jan. 21, aged 91 years, one month and 11 days. Mr. Woolwine was born Dec. 10, 1833 at Newcastle, Clark county, Ohio and moved with his family to Benton county, Arkansas 25 years ago, coming here from Kansas. He was a good citizen and earned the respect of all who knew him wherever he lived. He is survived by two sons and two daughters, D.P. Woolwine, Centerton, Ark.; J.R. Woolwine, Cripple Creek, Colo.; Mrs. Ely Morgan, Bentonville; and Mrs. Mary Gaasch, Denver, Colo. He is also survived by a number of grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Centerton Community church Thursday morning, Jan. 21, 1925, conducted by the Rev. Boyles of the Centerton Church. Interment was made in the Centerton cemetery by the side of his wife who died October 8th, 1923 while they were making their home here at Bentonville.

E.A. Woolwine, one of the oldest residents of the Centerton community, died at the home of his son, D.P. Woolwine, northwest of town, about 8 o'clock Wednesday morning following a week's illness of pneumonia fever. He was a little over 91 years of age and had been a resident of this neighborhood for nearly 25 years. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday with interment in the Centerton cemetery. The funeral was largely attended. Rev. E.P. Boyles of Centerton and Rev. Joe Tyson of Bentonville conducted the services. Mr. Woolwine was born in Dayton, Ohio in 1833 and came from Kansas to Benton county in 1900. He is survived by two sons - D.P. Woolwine of Centerton and J.R. Woolwine of Cripple Creek, Col.; also by two daughters - Mrs. Ely Morgan of Bentonville and Mrs. Mary Gaarsch of Denver, Col. Mrs. Woolwine died about a year ago.
